Is the pen mightier then the blog?

When I used to use a pen and a notebook- I never had a problem, but a blog gets involved and now I wonder-

If writing is supposed to be my refuge, my escape from the world and all its criticism, hate, and callousness, what am I supposed to do when my writing is now bringing me right back to that which I was running from?

Good Point Steph! I agree. Whats the point if people criticize what you write. Afterall, it is your thoughts - your blog, not theirs. That is the point of a blog isn't it?

But on the otherhand I guess it teaches us all to be careful what we say when we don't know who is reading, doesn't it. Careful & respectful . . . . or is it paranoid? Trying not to offend. Hmmm. Balance.

Steph,

It's just practice for the real thing. When you are a published author, criticism will be standing at your doorstep.

And you will be a published author!

And another thing...

In answer to your question, yes, the pen is mightier than the blog! At least with a pen, you can poke a critic in the eye, right?

I would like to poke Ricco the Squirrel in the eye right about now!
